Power & Energy
Advanced boiler cleaning for efficiency, safety, and sustainability — ash, slag, and fouling removed while the boiler remains in operation.
Advanced Boiler Cleaning for Efficiency, Safety & Sustainability
Automated impulse solutions remove ash, slag, and fouling from deposit-prone boiler areas while the boiler remains in operation — a high-impact alternative to manual cleaning, steam sootblowing, and combustion-shock systems, at a fraction of the CAPEX.
Compressed air only: no on-board combustion, ignition, fuel handling, or steam supply. Millisecond shock action and high-velocity airflow target tough fouling without continuous mechanical contact — and repeated pulses fatigue the fouling bond.
Furnace Walls (Radiation Zone)
The Retractable Hybrid AirMace™ nozzle extends into the boiler only during cleaning, fires a powerful air-water blast, then retracts to protect the tip from extreme heat. Fine water flashes into steam, creating secondary pressure waves that break and release deposits.
- 360° effective cleaning area
- Nozzle protected when idle, powerful when active
- Serviceable from outside the boiler
- More impact, less water, less complexity
Superheaters & Reheaters
Frequent, targeted cleaning with very short high-peak pulses. Pulse series can be fired every few seconds during a cleaning cycle, with power tuned to the application instead of over-stressing equipment.
- Working pressure 20–300 bar (300–5,000 psi)
- Adjustable pressure and firing rate
- Both shock wave and momentum
Economizers
Deposit removal in gas-path sections keeps heat-transfer surfaces clean and thermal efficiency high — without taking the boiler offline or entering confined spaces.
- Online cleaning during operation
- Fully automatic, local or remote control
- 100,000+ fires expected maintenance interval
Tube Banks & Convection Sections
Repeated high-pressure impulses clean tube banks and convection passes where ash and slag accumulate, restoring gas flow and heat transfer across the section.
- Millisecond shock action
- Cyclic loading fatigues the fouling bond
- No continuous mechanical contact
Ash Hoppers & Hopper Inlets
AirMace™ air cannons prevent and clear ash buildup and blockage in hoppers and hopper inlets — operating from standard plant air up to 600 psi with an optional booster.
- 60–600 psi operating range
- Optional booster doubles plant pressure
- Robust valve for dusty environments
Boiler Passes, Ducts & Gas-Flow Paths
Deposit removal in ducts, turns, and restricted gas passages — and other deposit-prone boiler areas with ash, slag, or fouling buildup along the gas path.
- Compact installation in existing facilities
- Adjustable pressure, pulse count, and cycle length
- Air-only or air-water configurations
Target applications
Waste-to-energy, biomass, sludge and hazardous-waste incineration, coal-fired power, black-liquor recovery, metals and minerals, cement, and chemical plants.
