Mining & Minerals
Durable impulse systems engineered for abrasive materials and demanding mining environments.
Abrasive and heavy materials wear down conventional flow aids. Iron ore fines, lumps, and slurries tend to cause arching, ratholing, and compaction in silos, hoppers, and chutes.
Our mechanical impulse systems are engineered for the durability demands of mining and mineral processing — robust valve designs, dust-resistant operation, and long service intervals.
Typical Applications
- ROM bins and surge hoppers
- Ore passes and crusher feed chutes
- Concentrate launders — clearing sanding and settling after stoppages
- Coal storage and transfer
- Iron ore silos, hoppers, and chutes
- Sand and gravel hoppers
- Mineral fertilizer silos
How We Solve It
MultiPulse™ integrates the robust force of high-pressure pulses to deliver highly targeted, sequential firing — more effective material dislodging, increased safety, and elimination or reduction of blockages, arching, and ratholing in ROM bins, surge hoppers, ore passes, and crusher feed chutes.
The same pulse action re-suspends and clears sanding and settling in concentrate launders after stoppages — restoring slurry flow without manual intervention.
AirMace™ air cannons handle routine discharge assistance in dusty, abrasive service. See our Iron Ore Mining & Processing guide for details.
